dark blue dvds

you can't read what you write on it
I once got a 25 pack of DVD+R, brand TDK. 8x speed. In NL you have to pay 0.60 euro of "copy tax" per dvd on top of the real price, so dvd's are expensive. I'm used to writing on the dvd what's on it, with a black cd/dvd marker. These dvd's had a "transparent blue" top instead of the usual white, which is supposed to make them look more fancy/cool looking. But reading what you write on it is unreadable if there's dim light. The drawings below give an impression.
